Land Rover Yakima Sparetime Mount

Here is the Yakima Sparetime mount that will allow you to use your bike rack on the spare tire location of your Defender, Range Rover Classic and Discovery I with the 5x6.5" bolt pattern.  Unfortunately the factory mounting plate doesn't fit our bolt pattern.  With this in place, the factory extensions will bolt right to it and will accomodate many tire/wheel combinations.  The plate is 3/16" steel and is TIG welded with a powdercoat finish.  

Land Rover Defender Spare Tire Hi Lift Mount

I have designed a Hi Lift mount that can be attached to the spare tire carrier on the rear of the Land Rover Defender.  The plate is 3/16" steel and can be rotated to any angle you desire.  It will fit on the ST, SW and also the rear door behind the spare tire.  It has a quick release pin so that you may remove it for safe storage or to a different vehicle with the addition of another reciever plate.  The unit is TIG welded and powder coated.  The bolt pattern is 5x6.5" which matches Defender, RRC and Discovery I.  The unique clamp bolts through the I-beam of the jack and holds the handle in place to keep it from rattling. 

 

 

Copper Lantern

The lantern measure about 24" tall and has been constructed to look like the portion of the customer's house you can see in the background.  It hangs from a steel arbor.

 

Rolling Ball Sculpture

This project was a blast. It took me about a year to complete.  The seed of the idea came from a customer who saw the movie Fracture.  In that movie, the main character creates these sculpture that are really a joy to look at.  I had never heard of rolling ball sculptures when approached about this idea.  It seemed like a challenge from the start and I was hesitant to take on the project.  We did a few other comissioned pieces for them in the meantime, but they still wanted the rolling ball sculpture.  So I gave it a try and this is the result.  It is made of steel, copper and bronze.
